Our social actions

Some time ago, we shared with you our actions in terms of ecology and the environment. It seemed important to us then also to let you discover and know our commitments in terms of social and societal responsibility.

Because the recognition of all is important to us! We contribute to this in our own way and we want to share this deep feeling with all our team.

For several years now, we have been ordering some of our supplies from an ESAT (Etablissement et Service d’Aide par le Travail) which hires psychologically disabled people. The ESAT L’Artisanerie de Verdier, with whom we work, supplies us with bin liners, air fresheners and other items… We are committed to contributing to equal access to work for all and to helping to maintain their activity.

Many objects are forgotten and not recovered by holidaymakers on our campsite in the Gard. Because we want to give them a second life, we donate them to associations located in the north of the Gard. This allows the association to distribute toys, clothes, shoes… to families in need.

Hiring and training young people is a strong value at Camping Les Cascades.

The management proudly supports this apprenticeship and has therefore passed the training permit, which is necessary for their training. The training permit is a training course intended for tutors and apprenticeship masters in the HCR sector (hotels, cafés, restaurants). In this way, we are keen to show our commitment to work-linked training and thus offer young people quality training in order to pass on our know-how.

We support young talent by offering them various internships and work-study contracts (we hire in fields related to the hotel industry, digital technology, catering, etc.). You can find out about our job offers by clicking here.

In order to support children suffering from rare and severely debilitating genetic diseases, we organise an annual telethon. In 2021, we offered our holidaymakers yoga classes, a circus show, a bingo… All these activities enabled us to raise over 400 euros.

Because for us, the social link between consumers and producers is essential, we are in contact with local producers, first of all, to provide quality products in our grocery shop and to support the local sector. This is why we offer meal baskets for 2 or 4 people made up exclusively of local products. We also like to organise local markets in our 4-star campsite.

We believe that everyone can take actions that promote respect for society and nature by setting a good example to those around them. As for companies, today they must make even greater efforts to protect the environment and take initiatives in the social field. Les Cascades campsite remains open to new actions to protect the environment and the fragile strata of society and is committed to carrying out as much as it can, the good practices of social responsibility.

Les Cascades Campsite**** Yelloh Village is located in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, in the small, unspoilt corner of southern France. It is next to the Cascades du Sautadet, a magnificent spot on the river Cèze, that we conduct our business, sharing the values of a company committed to society and the environment.
